Life Education
Life Education is now also a part of Coram and together as ‘Coram Life Education’ they help over 800,000 children across the UK learn to make responsible life choices. By teaching them about diet, exercise and to manage the risks they may encounter, we help them take responsibility for their own lives.
To ensure their work is memorable and successful they use stimuli-rich and interactive techniques such as puppetry and role play, they teach children about the cause and effect of issues they may face as they grow up, including:
- Healthy eating
- Drugs and alcohol
- Forming positive friendships
- Valuing their self-worth.
All programs are delivered by specially trained educators to schools across the country in a fleet of mobile classrooms.
Parents and Teachers
Because of the critical role parents and teachers play in protecting children from encountering risky situations, Coram Life Education also work with schools, parents and local communities offering support and advice around subjects that can be difficult to address.
Lorraine Hewitt, Corporate Development Fundraiser, Life Education Wessex says
